    Ah friday afternoon in the Newton, I have staggered out of there many a time dreaming of going to the match the next day. I was actually brought up in Longbenton it was a grand place many years ago. As for our underachieving team, I cant make my mind up about Roeder maybe the acadamy is the best place he appears to have done a fine job there. But the recent handing of Milner and N’Zobia worries me, as does team selection on occasions. I dont thing Shearer is that interested at the moment, but I do know that Fred will sack our manager soon, maybe in the summer or after 6 games or so next season. In my opinion this is our problem, Shepherd runs the club like his own PR company not like a business we need a chairman to take over and then state to the fans. I will sort this club but it will take time, I will start with the way we treat our fans and build upwards you will see progress but it will be slow, dont complain for the next 5 years give me time to sort it out. A bitter pill to swalllow but the only way, unless we are bought out my Mr Megabucks then the process will speed up but only if he is the right man?. In my line of business we have a saying ” if you do the same thing you get the same result, if you try something different you will get a different result” lets hope for all of us its the right one.
